This is the
web page for my CS 286 course: Seminar in Computer Science
The course info:
The focus of the course will be to a)investigate the uses of a computer modelled face for HCI (Human Computer Interaction) and b) to architect a software agent that makes interfacing with a computer very natural.
Definition. Human-computer interaction is a discipline concerned with the design, evaluation and implementation of interactive computing systems for human use and with the study of major phenomena surrounding them.
The Course is in three terms a, b and c.
Investigate the uses of facial modelling in Human Computer Interaction. Learn about:
a) Definitions and formal terminology in HCI
b) The Nature of Human Computer Interaction
c) The use and context of computers
d) Human characteristics
e) Computer system and interface architecture
f) The development process
