Princeton Review says about Caltech academics, 'Thanks to a "suicidal (yet effective) courseload," Caltech students put in a whopping four-and-a-half hours of study a day. "Just when you think classes can't get any harder, the professors find some way to kick your butt some more," says a harried first-year student.'

That is to a certain extent true. But unlike the harried frosh, I should admit that it makes us not mind the load too much considering how much we learn in the three months that make a term. Ofcourse, I would have different opinions as I would take AMA 95 or CS 138.
